Unmissable: Lyon Cathedral and other churches

Lyon city center is home to a large number of remarkable religious monuments. The most famous are undoubtedly the Notre-Dame de Fourvière basilica and the Saint-Jean-Baptiste cathedral. Vieux Lyon alone has no fewer than four churches. The most beautiful in the city include the Saint-Nizier church in the street of the same name, the Saint-Georges church on the Quai Fulchiron and the Saint-Martin d’Ainay abbey in the rue Bourgelat. Explore the Tête d’Or park

Located on the banks of the Saône, north of the city center, the Tête d’Or park is one of the largest urban public parks in France. In addition to the many paths that crisscross it, offering kilometers of jogging and cycling trails, the park is home to a botanical garden and a zoo, which can be visited for free. Other inexpensive attractions and activities also await you there, such as taking a boat trip on the lake or taking a ride on a small train or carousel. Restaurants and snack stands also line the park.
